UPDATES ON COVID19 – PHASE 2 REOPENING (19 JUNE 2020)

Dear students,

As we move into Phase 2 of post-Circuit Breaker from 19 June 2020, SUSS will continue to follow a careful and phased approach in resuming selected activities on campus.

Please return to campus only if you are attending approved programmes and have obtained permission to do so. All other activities on campus have been suspended until further notice.

On campus, check in by scanning the SafeEntry QR code at the security check counter and activate your mobile phone’s Bluetooth and TraceTogether app at all times. Please keep within your assigned group and do not mingle outside of your group, even during mealtimes.

If you are feeling unwell with respiratory symptoms (eg: cough/sore throat/runny nose), we encourage you to see a doctor immediately even if your symptoms are mild. If you are diagnosed with Acute Respiratory Infection, you will receive priority swab testing at a polyclinic or Public Health Preparedness Clinic when you show your student pass.

While waiting for your swab test results, please do not come to campus for classes, but remain at home and monitor your health. Your doctor will issue you medical leave during this period.

We will be sending out a notice on the periodic update of travel declarations near end July, so do look out for it.

Meanwhile, please visit www.suss.edu.sg/advisory for more updates.

You can also click here to check out how to stay safe during this Phase 2 opening in a video put up by Head, Human Factors in Safety, Associate Professor Chui Yoon Ping.

Stay healthy and safe!

Best Regards,
Student Support
